Getting started with Dragonflight leveling

When logging into World of Warcraft, you will create your in-game character. Upon doing so, you must make sure you pick the best race and class combination for your needs. Grinding in Dragonflight

However, it is generally considered the slowest way of leveling your character in Dragonflight. You can do it if you want to have some leveling variation, but it's not the best way to reach level 70 in this expansion.

Dungeons in Dragonflight

Dungeons are a great way to get your character to the max level. It will grant you a great amount of experience and fun and provide you with much better items and gear from the bosses. Here at Zremax, we consider dungeons necessary for reaching level 70 in Dragonflight. If you don't do dungeons, you will lack items and proper gear, making the quest paths harder and resulting in the leveling process taking up much longer. Another thing to note with Dungeons is that&nbsp;<a href="https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/The_World_of_Warcraft_Townhall/FAQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">World of Warcraft is an MMORPG game</a>, and Blizzard designed it to be a team game. So they want to promote dungeons, and they also focused on doing this in the Dragonflight expansion. You need to find a group of 5 members when doing dungeons, as the difficulty is heavily increased compared to questing. Therefore, it's a benefit to be playing on an active server, whether you are playing retail or on a&nbsp;<a href="https://zremax.com/expansion/dragonflight-private-servers">Dragonflight Private Server</a>.

Leveling 1-60: Horde

Hint 1: The zone is a contested territory, and it is great at getting you to exactly level 10. It's fun and quick to do.

Hint 2: Legion questline: Start by beginning the Legion questline, which you can do by speaking to Chromie quest giver. Continue questing here until you receive the Dalaran Hearthstone, which will benefit your leveling journey to 70 later.- Hint 3: After completing the Legion quest line, you should do Silverpine Forrest.

Hint 4: Once hitting level 20, return to Orgrimmar and learn your character's Riding Skill. After doing so, enable War Mode and then return to your leveling zone (Silverpine Forrest).

Hint 12: Make sure that you complete all the quest lines in Gorgound, including side-quests like The Crimson Fen and bonus objectives such as "Valley of Destruction," "Mistcreep Mire," and "The Razerbloom." After completing all the quest lines, you should be hitting level 60 and finally able to move to Dragonflight content to reach level 70! Congrats.

Leveling 1-60: Alliance

Hint 3: After completing the quest line, you should do Redridge Mountains. Once reaching "Prisoners of War," it's time to move to the next zone: Duskwood.

Hint 4: Start in the Darkshire area in Duskwood, and complete the whole quest line.

Hint 5: Once level 20, return to Stormwind City and learn your character's Riding Skill. After doing so, enable War Mode and then return to your leveling zone (Duskwood).

Hint 6: Begin the WoD questline by speaking to Chromie and selecting WoD. It's quickly completed and will help you reach level 60 quickly to experience Dragonflight until level 70.

Hint 7: Set up your Garrison and ensure you do all the quests you can in this zone. It gives a lot of good XP. Ensure you do the Starfall Outpost questline and the Bloodthorn Hill objective.

Hint 8: When completing these questlines above, move to Spires of Arak until you reach level 35. Generally, this leveling phase (30-40) is harder for the Alliance races than the horde zones, as you don't have Silverpine Forest and Hillsbrad Foothills on Alliance.

Overall, the feedback by the players/gamers were very positive, and people loved the raid. Both the graphics, music and boss encounters were applauded.

Location: Icecrown (Argent Tournament Grounds)

Bosses: Northrend Beasts, Lord Jaraxxus, Faction Champions, Eydis Darkbane, Anub'arak

Just like ICC, TotC is also placed in Icecrown. The raid has five encounters, and both horde as well as alliance have a part of this raid. The normal version is not considered too hard, however the heroic version does require quite a bit of effort to complete. Trail of the Crusade is a unique raid in the sense that you don't have to move a lot around. There's not a lot of new areas to discover, as the mobs and bosses will be summoned in the same location as the entrance.

Location: Dustwallow Marsch (Wyrmbog)

In Onyxia's Lair, you have the purpsoe of defeating the final boss, Onyxia. It consists of 3 main phases, where you need to kill the dragon. She will fly in the air while you need to try and bring her down. The tactics are probably known to the majority already, hence we will not elaborate on that. Unlike the other raids, the raid is simply located in Dustwallow Marsch (Kalimdor), hence it's a quite unique location - most of the other Wotlk raids are somewhere in Northrend.

Location: Dragonblight (Coldarra)

The Eye of Eternity (EoE) is the final raid of Nexus, and has the single solo boss called Malygos. You can compare the fight against Onyxia in terms that it's the only boss in the raid that you have to defeat. The drops are between 213-226 in terms of Item Level, so it's not the best gear that you will get from killing Malygos. It's a good starting raid when you don't feel like taking up the strong raids such as Onyxia's Lair or ICC.

Location: Wintergrasp (Wintergrasp Keep)

Loot Item Level: 200-270 Bosses: Archavon the Stone Watcher, Emalon the Storm Watcher, Koralon the Flame Watcher, Toravon the Ice Watcher

With the unique map location of VoA, you will be able to find the entrances inside Wintergrasp, known as the area for PvP and fight between players in WLK. The tactics for Vault of Archavon are pretty clear; basically, you should consider the boss encounters as DPS'. Those bosses will spawn adds throughout the fight that you need to kill fast - therefore, you should prioritize the adds first.

Location: Dragonblight (Wyrmrest Temple)

Bosses: Sartharion, Shadron, Tenebron, Vesperon

OS (Obsidian Sanctum) is also located in Dragonblight, just like several of the other raids. The raid gives you a molten feeling with dragons that you need to kill. The size of the raid is quite small, however there are a lot of adds you need to kill. Also, the raid only has one boss (Sartharion) which is not too hard to slay. However, the raiding group needs to watch out for the one-shot mechanic, which is the primary tactic that the boss uses.

As you have learned throughout the raid list, each raid have different difficulty. If you want to be a part of the high demanding raids like ICC and The Ruby Sanctum, there will be some requirements. First of all, it's best if you find a group through your guild. Having a guild means that your group will practice and discuss the tactics together, which are required for the high level raids. Secondly, you need to ensure that your ingame character has sufficient gear. For example, as a DPS, you need enough of proper item gear to actually be on the top of the DPS list (which you want to be). As a tank, you need to have enough of armor and health to survive the boss encounters, and so on. It can be challenging to get enough good gear once getting started, but for this part you can go ahead and get&nbsp;<a href="https://www.igvault.com/WoW-Classic-WLK-Gold" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wotlk Gold</a>&nbsp;for your classic experience. As mentioned throughout the article, there are 9 raids in the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Each of the raids require different tactics.
