Welcome to a comprehensive leveling guide for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. The guide below includes all the relevant information you should know as a player to reach level 70 in World of Warcraft. Discover the latest tips to increase your leveling efficiency, the best zones, quests, and dungeons in Dragonflight. Ultimately, you will learn how it's sometimes about more than just reaching the maximum level as fast as possible.
When logging into World of Warcraft, you will create your in-game character. Upon doing so, you must make sure you pick the best race and class combination for your needs. For instance, you can't be a Goblin paladin. However, do note that the combinations change in every expansion. For instance, if you play on a WoW Private Server that is running on a different expansion than Dragonflight, you will be able to play with class- and race combinations.
Depending on the spec and race you have chosen above, you should also decide on the role you would like to focus on. For instance, do you want to be responsible for tanking the bosses and ensuring you keep the aggro of the mobs? Or do you want to heal and rescue the group? Three roles:
Questing is the ideal way to level your character in Dragonflight. It is the recommended way to get to level 70. However, it can also be boring from time to time. We recommend that you do a combination of the different leveling types. Otherwise, you can risk burning out from only doing quests and never reaching that maximum level for your character. Later in the article, you will discover the best zones to quest in and figure out the optional leveling areas.
Grinding is the old and classic way of leveling. It is plain and simple leveling by killing mobs/npcs without having any quests assigned to the mobs you are killing. It can be effective if you are a class such as a Mage and have found many spawns close to each other so that you can do AOE grinding. However, it is generally considered the slowest way of leveling your character in Dragonflight. You can do it if you want to have some leveling variation, but it's not the best way to reach level 70 in this expansion.
Dungeons are a great way to get your character to the max level. It will grant you a great amount of experience and fun and provide you with much better items and gear from the bosses. Here at Zremax, we consider dungeons necessary for reaching level 70 in Dragonflight. If you don't do dungeons, you will lack items and proper gear, making the quest paths harder and resulting in the leveling process taking up much longer. Another thing to note with Dungeons is that World of Warcraft is an MMORPG game, and Blizzard designed it to be a team game. So they want to promote dungeons, and they also focused on doing this in the Dragonflight expansion. You need to find a group of 5 members when doing dungeons, as the difficulty is heavily increased compared to questing. Therefore, it's a benefit to be playing on an active server, whether you are playing retail or on a Dragonflight Private Server.

The main difference is that Advanced mode is another way players can level in Dragonflight. To use the Adventure mode, the main character must have completed the campaign mode first, with all the storylines in the four zones. You can consider Advanced mode as an alternative leveling path for your alt characters.
1. Make sure to always head into an Innkeeper when logging off so that you can gain rested XP. Rested XP gives you the double amount of experience gained: - Normal XP: 100% - Rested XP: 200%
2. Use your Hearthstone wisely. You can save much time using your Hearthstone to return to the zones you need for quests.
The fastest way would be to follow our guide of the questing zones, which we concluded earlier. However, using this with a combination of dungeons along the way can be good. This way, you can get better character gear, explore different game parts, and have fun! It's important not to get burned out while playing World of Warcraft .
