Kalidar is a 100% Blizzlike, non-commercial Vanilla server. Experience all content at your own pace from Patch 1.2 to 1.12, alone or with friends.

Most of you won't know the project, so I'll start with a brief introduction. I have been developing for about a year a new emulator written from scratch for the 0.5.3.3368 Friends and Family alpha version. Development is going well and steady (although I gladly welcome any contributor wanting to help).
I'm releasing all the software and resources to the public, you can find everything here: https://github.com/The-Alpha-Project.
There's at this moment a closed 0.5.3 server that is open for Supporters and Contributors only, but to lesser the waiting for the completion of the emulator (which will take a long time), I have decided to offer something to the community: a pure Vanilla 1.12 server.
This is not a commercial project of any kind, just a long lasting realm to chill alone or with friends knowing that you are the owner of your data (I won't perform any wipe and I'll gladly provide dumps of your characters if you request them). Said this, don't expect anything else from it, just a little comfy place.

Timeline: None, I'll change patches when I/we feel like it.

I have been playing here for some days and the experience is being amazing, it's by far the best scripted server I have ever played on. Hopefully more players will join Kalidar soon!
This server is the hidden gem of the private WoW server scene. First and foremost.. best scripting I've seen in a long time. Everything runs smooth as butter. The community is extremely tight knit because it's so small. We're all friends with one another, help, chat, laugh, support and work together to achieve goals. Server has PartyBot and AHBot enabled which makes it one of the most fun, hilarious and unique leveling experiences I've ever had. These features are temporary until population increases a bit but I'm having an absolute BLAST with them enabled. Dev is awesome and addresses issues, listens to the community and is doing right for the sake of longevity of this server. Further patches will bring all kinds of fun and you should NOT let the small population discourage you in any way. I honestly had no idea how much fun I'd have.. I'm hooked! Bottom line - best Vanilla WoW experience I've ever had (short of real vanilla in 2004). Come give it a try!
Really nice server for vanilla lovers who prefer non custom experience with progressive patching and itemisation to chill out alone or with friends. Friendly community but really could use some more people, especially on horde side. The server is currently crossfaction and has AHbot enabled for smoother levelling experience though this may be dependent on population changes. The server is also quite fresh and still on patch 1.2 so you haven't missed anything yet.
