Project Ascension is a fully released Classless WoW server offering FFA Loot on Death PvP, Seasonal Servers, High & Low Risk PvP with custom mechanics that allow Loot on Death to function in WoW. We have full time development, balance and support staff!
Our server is supported via donations for cosmetic and convenience only. No gear, no power, no progression or "catch up" exists for donations.
Ascension is a masterfully crafted, fully scripted Blizz-like Vanilla private server with one major twist. Rather than selecting from the classic Warcraft classes, players on Ascension create their own class. Using a custom UI, players can choose from every spell and talent in the game, creating their own unique Hero.
As players level, they'll gain access to higher level Abilities and Talents. By the time they hit 60, the current level cap they'll be able to select from every spell, skill and talent in the game, and forge a Hero of their own design.
Ascension runs on a 3.3.5 core, and players have access to talents all the way up to Wrath of the Lich King. Additionally, the server will progress through Warcrafts most iconic two expansions, Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King.

Project-Ascension deserves a 5 star rating for it's unique sort of server. They provide a lot of custom features, so make sure you're into that. It's basically a classless server. Their marketing deserves 5+ too. I saw Project Ascension on my Facebook as sponsored post the other day :D
Third classless private server. I think that others are better. Very often colaps and you have to pay to win or do something.
its wotlk, with lvl cap with legion mechanics and overtuned abilities coming from enchants which can increase your dmg output by 2x-3x-(10x*) (*aoe)
the community is toxic and disgustingly open about their sexual habits, or either are trolling 24/7 in world chat, its hard to actually understand the differences.
its fun for a day, then it gets boring to the same fake gameplay mechanics from retail, slightly increase the difficulty and get +1sr +1stamina per item upgrade.
Gearscore and meta gameplay rules the world, its anti social and rejects every aspect of an MMO and RPG.

I had tried but compering to other classless servers it is poor proect. As I can see they try to copy others with poor results.
This server isn't great, but it isn't the worst either. Everything works and functions great. Very few small bugs.Smooth gameplay. Lots of people from all around the world. That being said. I was a hardcore WoWhead and a serious player so as far as dungeons/raids etc., Tanks have no clue what they are doing here. They don't do well at all so plan on dying a lot. The stats and aggro work really weird here and not accurate. My Mage can pull stuff from a football field away better than a warrior in tank spec sometimes. Ppl here are as toxic as can be. Probably the worst I've seen anywhere. Chat is always full of garbage. Ppl tear you down for asking questions as a newcomer. The classless thing is okay and kind of cool at times. You can only fly in Outland. Guilds are full of ppl who are randoms and do nothing together. So if you can deal with all that BS, then welcome home ;)
